What is the minimum number of client
access license can I purchase?
The minimum number of client access
license that can be purchased is 1 for
hosting (ASP) and 1 for
self hosting.
Can I use the Gantt diagram and Planning
module without the Approval Management
module?
Yes you can, the Gantt diagram and
Planning module works fine without the
Approval Management module, however it is
important understand that everybody who
have a log in will be able to schedule
everybody else because everybody have
access to the all the projects setup in
the system.
Can I enable modules add a later point in
time if I use the hosting service?
Yes, you can enable any module you want at
any time. All you have to do is to
login to Account Management, from where
you can enable the model or modules you
want. During the 14 day trial you
can enable and disable any not you want
without any charge. When the trial is
over, payment is required for any module
you enable. If you enable a marginal
halfway through a billing period, the
additional charges will be added to the
next billing period.
Can I get licenses for additional modules
if I host myself?
Yes, if you host yourself, you can add an
additional module or modules at any time.
You will need a new registration key which
will be given to you upon payment.
Can I use a regular computer as server?
No, you can only use
Windows 2000 and
2003
server. You can also use MSDE database
engine in lieu of a full MS-SQL Server.
MSDE has been tested to work well with 15
simultaneous users.
Can I use the system in an Intranet?
Yes, you can use the system in an Intranet
or in the Internet.
I want to use 128-bit SSL encryption,
can I do that?
Yes, 3f Software Planner was designed to
work with
SSL encryption.
Do I have to install client
applications?
No, but you do have the option of
downloading the 3f Software Planner
Hosting Client that allows users to start
the 3f Software Planner directly from the
desktop by
clicking an icon.
I have a specific need. Will you make
changes in your system if I pay you for
that?
Yes, 3f Software Planner is completely
customizable. Using the free SKD you can
add pages or reports, access the database
etc. If you do not want to do it
yourself we can do it for you.
