When you
un-install 3f Project 2006, Install shield will also remove the MSDE
(Microsoft Desktop Engine) automatically. However, there are situations
where Install shield does not remove it. If the MSDE is not removed, you
have to download a zip file that contains a bat file which, upon execution
will force the un-installation of MSDE.
How the tool
works
Download and unzip
the MSDE_UNINSTALL.bat on your desktop, then double click
MSDE_UNINSTALL.zip.bat to start the un-installation of MSDE.
Prerequisites
You must be logged
in with an Administrator account to un-install MSDE.
Remember
The database files
(containing data) will be removed during this process. If you have not
backed up your database, you should do that first using the database
manager.
