With the 3f Software Planner time and
attendance system everyone
can track time using the build in time clock
application. Time and attendance can be used as an
employee attendance clock or used only to
track the time that has gone into a
project. By
using a time clock - as oppose to entering time
manually -
time reports are more accurate. To start
time tracking on a task all the employee has
to do is to
identify the task by clicking it
and the system takes care of the rest.
Note that time can
be entered
manually if for instance an employee works away
from his or her computer.
There are two different ways the time
clock
can be started, option 1 is available with
all modules and option 2 is only available
in the optional
Gantt
diagram and planning module.
Option 1. "Project Time Tracking" is where time tracking on a
task is started. Tasks that
are finished are not listed here. A task is finished if the remaining
hours for the task = 0. This is set in the
Project Management
console.

Option 2.
In the optional module
Gantt
diagram and Planning employees can
be scheduled - who is going to do what and
when. Anything scheduled will be shown on
the employee's today page as can be see
below. To start time tracking on a task all
that the employee has to do is to click the green "Play"
icon next to the task.
