There is no limit as to the number of projects that can be set up in the
system. Project can either be stand alone projects or they can be linked to another project
for the same client. Linking a project will
automatically carry forward all unresolved
issues from
a previous versions of the same project. It also aid in keeping track of
the project version history.
The image below shows how a project you
setup. Aside from project name and
project number you can also defined
project phases. Project phases are
assigned to tasks and thereby grouping the
tasks logically together based on when,
during the project, these tasks are going
to be worked on.
In addition to this you can
also choose a project manager and you can
define how timesheets are going to be
approved for this project. These two
functionalities are only available with
the
Approval Management module. If you do
not have the Approval Management module
all timesheets are automatically approved
one submitted, and there is no project
manager for a project.
