Exporting project templates can save a lot
of time when new projects are setup.
Use this feature to create a set of
project templates for each type of project
you undertake. Once a template has
been created, it can be import into any
project. When project templates are
created, you can choose which task to
include in the template. The same
goes when you import the template into a
project, you choose the tasks you want to
import.
The project template resides on the server
in a folder designated by you if you do
self hosting.
On the other hand, if you use our
hosting
service the project template resides
on your computer, and is uploaded each
time you use the template.
To create a template all you have to do is
to activate the project you want to use as
basis for the template. Next click
the file menu choose export, then XML -
Task List. In the subsequent form
give the template a name then choose the
tasks to include.
