The built-in Project Issue Management system ensures that you
don't lose the overview of project issues, which
ones are resolved and which once are pending. Anyone with access to
a project can enter new issues. If you have the
Approval Management module then a
notification email is automatically send
to the project manager notifying him or
her about the issue. Upon receipt of such notification, the
project manager can assign a resource to deal with the issue.
The optional Test Case Management system (see
optional Test Management module) works together
with the issue management system in two ways. First, when an item has been resolved, an entry is
automatically made into a floating test case ensuring that the issue will
be tested. Secondly, if a test item fails,
an entry in the issue management system is automatically made.

Note: Using Test Management
together with issue management is optional.
When entering the details of an issue
you have the option to describe it in detail, how it can be
repeated, how you suggest that it should be resolved etc. You can also
upload support files i.e. screenshots. For issues requiring more work you
have the option of converting it into a task within the project. That way
an issue can be scheduled from within the optional
Gantt diagram and Planning module.
