XML Export

Free for hosting and self-hosting if you have all other modules (Test Management and Approval Management)

This module is free and is automatically added when you have either purchased all modules (self-hosting) or if you are using all modules (hosting).

With this module you can virtually export any data in the project management system as XML enabling you to import the data into accounting, invoicing, Excel or any other application supporting XML. You can also write your own web services for displaying of project data on your own web site.

There is a free SDK which can be downloaded containing examples and more information on how the XML files can be used.

XML Exporting

Due to the many different data that can be exported as XML it is necessary to configure the XML files you want to export. This is done in an area known as the XML central. When the XML definition has been created the XML file can be exported over and over again. You even have the option to add a time stamp to each XML file so that existing files are not overwritten.

XML File

XML files can, once exported be opened in a browser windows, send as email or access through a shared network drive. When the XML file is configured one of the parameters is the XML file location (if you are hosting yourself). If you use the hosting service you cannot define the XML file location. The final option is to let the system send the XML file to you as an email attachment provided that you have configured your system to send emails.
